Review: Secret Clear Gel

I normally use a Solid stick, preferably Dove. I used to use Lady Speed stick but for the last year, I've noticed a chemically odor and I find myself repelled by the scent. But I enjoy Dove quite a bit.

When I was invited to take part in the Secret campaign, I was a little skeptical. I haven't had a great experience with Secret deodorant or gel deodorants in the past. I thought what the heck though,  it's free and maybe that's just the coaxing I need to try out a product that I probably wouldn't try otherwise.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the Cocoa Butter kiss scent. I really enjoy Cocoa butter in general and the lotion I regularly use is primarily Cocoa Butter. I found it very enjoyable. I didn't care too much for how moist my underarms felt when I first applied the product. That is one of the key differences between a gel stick and a solid stick. The solids seem to go on dryer. The feeling went away though. Overall, I did find the product worked well with my body chemistry. I'll probably stick to Dove but since this does go clear and it seems to work well, I'll most likely keep a stick on hand for certain occasions. I'm really glad I tried this product out. It just goes to show how much our impressions of things can change over time.

Disclaimer: I received a sample of Secret Clear Gel from Bzz Agent to test out for free because I am a Bzz Agent.
